Aleks Collingwood
Aleks joined the Research and Policy Department at JRF in 2011. Her work has a statistical and quantitative focus and is cross cutting across the themes of Poverty, Place and Empowerment.
Profile
Prior to joining JRF, Aleks worked for NatCen as a Senior Researcher Analyst focusing on projects that used the Longitudinal Study of Young People in England (LSYPE). Before this she worked for ONS in the areas of child health and medical research, ethnicity, migration, Census questionnaire development and as an author of Social Trends.
She has an MSc in Demography and Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and her background is in social research and analysis for academic institutions, government organisations and NGOs both in the UK and in Vanuatu.
