Debby Ounsted
Debby was Chair of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust from 2006 until 2011.
She has spent her working life in housing and local government. She has been Chief Executive of Habinteg, a housing association which has a special focus for people with disabilities, and also of the Octavia Hill Housing Trust. Debby now works as an independent consultant specializing in governance, strategic development and inspection.
She has served on a number of housing association and voluntary sector Boards including 6 years as chair of KIDS. Debby is on the Court of the Mercers' livery company. She is a governor of Thomas Telford School in the West Midlands and a governor of the Hammersmith Academy Trust.
