Paul Dack
Director of Finance. Paul Dack is the Director of Finance at Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust. He originally joined as Chief Accountant in 1986 before progressing to Deputy Director of Finance and then Director of Finance for JRHT. He became the Director of Finance for both JRF and JRHT on 1 September 2006 – his 20th anniversary.
Paul qualified as a chartered accountant in 1984 and worked for Thomson Mclintock (since absorbed into KPMG) before joining JRF / JRHT.
He serves on the Audit Committee at the University of York and has also recently joined the University Pension Scheme Investment Committee. He is currently having a slight ‘sabbatical’ from voluntary activities but has previously been a board member of the Origin Housing Group, a housing association in London, and treasurer for York Council for Voluntary Services and York Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders.
