Fast forward into the future: creating an age friendly society

About the event

This public consultation event, hosted by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, was held in York on 18 March 2009.

Residents from New Earswick, local community groups (for example, carers’ groups, older people’s forums) and sixth form students from local schools, gathered at the village Folk Hall to discuss how to create a more age-friendly society.
