Estate of Mind (Bradford)

About the event

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Arakan Creative are pleased to present Estate of Mind, a play about the issues affecting two traditionally white estates in Bradford.

The play reveals the challenges and frustrations of life on the estates, and demonstrates what needs to change. The work also provides a voice for residents, and facilitates understanding within and outside of the community.

Delegates will have the opportunity to put questions to a panel of researchers, 'characters' from the play, and residents from the estates.

This work is part of JRF's Bradford programme. A new report, 'Participation and community on Bradford's traditionally white estates’ was published on 30 July 2010.
