This lecture which will be chaired by Dame Mavis McDonald DCB, Trustee of Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust and will bring together key minds that have shaped homelessness policy in the UK and the USA. The lecture will provide policy makers and practitioners in Wales with vital lessons as they strive to improve homelessness policy and practice.

Dr Dennis Culhane, Penn School of Social Policy & Practice, University of Pennsylvania, USA will speak on the dynamics of homelessness and the implications for policy. Professor Suzanne Fitzpatrick, Professor of Housing and Social Policy, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh will talk about implementing a rights-based approach to homelessness in Scotland.
