Despite both practitioners and users having an interest in agencies working effectively together, there are a number of difficulties in doing this. Achieving the impossible provides a greater understanding of the nature and practice of interagency collaboration, drawing on a wide range of examples where housing, health and social care agencies have successfully worked together.
The report also provides a broad overview of policies influencing housing, health and social care to inform readers unfamiliar with policies not in their direct area of concern.
