This report explores the scope for collaboration and partnership between Training and Enterprise Councils (TECs) and other organisations involved in area regeneration, including social landlords, local authorities, the community and the voluntary sector. The report: provides a better understanding of the constraints as well as the potential for collaboration involving TECs; clarifies the links between the economic, social and community dimensions of regeneration; highlights tangible ways in which TECs can add value to regeneration partnerships; illustrates examples of good practice that can inform partnership working; and proposes guidelines for good practice.
