We want the UK to be a good place for those of us who have dementia to live well.
Since 2012 we’ve been working to strengthen the collective voice of people with dementia, support dementia-friendly communities and encourage people to think differently about dementia.
In 2014, as part of the Dementia Empowerment and Engagement Project (DEEP) we’re focusing on exploring how people with dementia can better support each other to shape policy, practice and attitudes. We’re also working on becoming a dementia-friendly organisation to support the growth of dementia-friendly communities. To encourage wider thinking about dementia, we’ve commissioned research into how thinking differently could support those with advanced dementia and women with dementia.
