The JRF/JRHT run an annual paid internship scheme. Graduates gain high quality work experience on meaningful projects or tasks that benefit the organisation.

What is a JRF/JRHT internship?

This year JRF/JRHT are running a six month paid internship scheme. The programme is designed to tap into graduates’ knowledge and fresh ideas, and for interns to gain an interesting and useful introduction to the workplace which will help their future employment prospects.

About the scheme

We advertise for the placements in mid-May each year on the JRF/JRHT websites together with a number of other websites, which include and in previous years have included the Guardian on-line, Disability Now and various university career websites.

Successful applicants are expected to start at the beginning of September and work through to the end of February.

Each year we get over 400 applicants and so applications need to be well presented with candidates having thought through why they want an internship with us. Please note we only accept applications in response to the advert and within the time period specified in the advert.
