Following the publication in 2004 of its overview report, Older people shaping policy and practice, three short briefing papers have been produced.
These include a summary of conclusions from the Older People’s Inquiry. The Inquiry grew out of the JRF’s Older People’s Programme. With members including older people, academics and policy and practice specialists, the Inquiry investigated what changes were needed to support older people to live independently.
The three briefing papers are:
- Involving older people: What standards should we expect?, Older People's Steering Group
- Is information power? Older people, information, advice and advocacy, Alex O'Neil with Andrew Dunning
- The Older People’s Inquiry: 'That little bit of help', Secretariat to Older People's Inquiry
The three briefing papers are contained within one download.
