Homeowners: Sons and daughters
Key findings from a survey of parents’ attitudes to helping their children buy a home.
This research survey looked at parents' attitudes towards giving their adult children (aged 18 to 29) financial support with house-buying. This report summarises the key findings. The survey also explores parents' views on whether their children will want to buy, now and in the future, and whether and how parents would find the money to support children in buying a home. Containing links to more detailed information, the summary also details the methodology and design of the survey, the sample profile and the statistical reliability of the data.
