Where poverty intersects with social exclusion: Evidence and features of solutions

6th Sep 2006

Background information including evidence and features of solutions for a lecture and discussion hosted by the JRF on 5 September 2006, intended to inform current government thinking on its new Social Exclusion Action Plan.

Social exclusion has been at the heart of the JRF’s core concerns since its foundation in 1904. In August 2006, the JRF commissioned two papers for a discussion event intended to inform current government thinking on its new Social Exclusion Action Plan.

The other paper, Social exclusion: Some possible broader areas of concern by Peter Kenway and Guy Palmer, is also available.
