Eradicating child poverty: what do the public think?
JRF and Save the Children at the SNP Party Conference 2024 in a discussion on public attitudes towards child poverty.
Our attendance at party conferences aims to present our latest research and engage in current political conversations.
More about this event
This event was an opportunity to hear about the current Save the Children and JRF research on public attitudes to child poverty and the policy solutions needed to reach the child poverty targets.
We reflected on what the findings so far mean for government, political parties and the action needed to reach the 2030 child poverty targets.
All parties must build solutions to child poverty into their 2026 manifestos and can utilise this research to make policy changes based on strong evidence of public support.
