Alex Luckett

Alex works within the Insight Infrastructure team at JRF, contributing to the Grounded Voices programme. Her work focuses on strengthening how lived experience informs understanding of poverty, ensuring people’s realities are captured with care, depth and integrity.

Before joining JRF, Alex delivered financial education to diverse groups at a financial education charity before moving into a research and evaluation role. There, she led mixed-methods research with young people experiencing financial hardship, using interviews, focus groups and participant engagement to develop insight into the structural barriers shaping financial wellbeing. Earlier in her career, Alex taught Geography in a large London secondary school, further shaping her understanding of inequality and inclusion.
