Maddy leads JRF's campaigns and public affairs work on social security, communities and place; including our flagship 'Guarantee our Essentials' campaign, which calls on the Government to ensure the basic rate of Universal Credit is at least enough to afford life's essentials. Before joining JRF, Maddy worked in variety of campaigning roles across the sector including at housing and homelessness charity Shelter, and in the UK poverty team at Save the Children.
