Shān Nicholas

Shān Nicholas joined the JRF-JRHT group in October 2025. She leads the executive team and works with the board of trustees to ensure the group does not stand still while a permanent CEO is recruited. She has worked as a Chief Executive since 2005 and is a highly experienced interim manager and consultant. She has led several charities in the voluntary sector focused on poverty and social exclusion including the Child Poverty Action Group, Toynbee Hall, The Children's Society, the Refugee Council and the Rayne Foundation. Before specialising as an interim CEO Shān spent 10 years as an Executive Director at Stonham Housing Association.
