Matthew Horne

Matthew leads a social enterprise with a mission to reduce inequalities and transform systems. He has a special interest in reducing child poverty through innovations in education and early years, children’s social care and family policy. His work focuses on enabling collaboration and innovation between local statutory and voluntary sector partners that improve life chances for children and families. He has previously worked on public service reform in the Cabinet Office and Department for Education.

Matthew is an experienced Academy Trustee, School Governor, and volunteer working with children.  He lives in York and is an Associate of the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission.
